Like how you two can make each other laugh with the dumbest jokes (no judgment — I’m a sucker for a dumb joke). Or the way you’ve seen your favorite band live damn near 10 times. Or that you’re a regular at your favorite neighborhood restaurant because they know exactly what you love to order.
All the little parts of you are like puzzle pieces that fit perfectly with your person. Your quirks complement each other, become part of the story of your relationship. And they become the foundation of our photos together. The way you two move together, laugh together, love together. It’s so damn beautiful and it’s making me a little emotional just thinking about it.
Okay, so how about I change the subject and tell you all about my quirks.
Those small details between two people that slip by without much notice — that’s where I first fell in love with photography. I loved it so much that I studied photography and film at University of the Arts in Philadelphia (born and raised, bruh).
My images were a little edgy, a little playful, a mix of pure documentary and editorial artistry. But they’ve always been centered on the truth of deeply felt emotions.
I’m someone who feels so deeply, and for a long time, I didn’t know how to channel that. Yet with couples like you, I’m able to focus all that into my craft and telling your real story.
