02. Official official

If we’re a good fit (and I hope we are!) I’ll share my contract. Sign that puppy and pay your retainer fee, then you’re officially one of my couples. From here on out, you’ve got all my attention, friendship and expertise.

03. Get vibey

Let yourself dream — what do you want your photo session to look like, feel like? I’ll do everything to make it happen. For engagement + couple sessions, that means location scouting, wardrobe consults, and session planning. For weddings, you can expect photo timelines, vendor recs, resource guides and more.

04. The day is here

You’re excited, I’m excited, we’re all excited! I’m an expert at reading the vibes to give you the support you need, whether that’s hanging back to let the emotions flow or using my outside voice to wrangle all your relatives. Whatever you need, I’ve got you. You two just focus on what matters most (that’d be all that love and the people you’re celebrating with).

05. Memory delivery

After your session, I turn my attention to your images. I edit with thoughtfulness and expertise to genuinely tell the story of your day. These are keep forever and ever sorts of photos, so you can trust in me to deliver images that’ll blow you away. For couples sessions, photos will be delivered within 3 weeks; for weddings, 8–12 weeks.

Do you travel?

Absolutely, I love to travel! Tell me when & I'm there!

What if there is bad weather?

Unfortunately, the weather is something that none of us control! I always monitor the radar, and sometimes I like to hold off on rescheduling until the end of day. There have been a few times where I’ve waited out the small storm and had beautiful skies and fewer crowds at our location!

I’m awkward–will you give us direction?

I’m awkward too! Most of us are, especially when someone has a very large intimidating camera pointing at you! Since I know it can be overwhelming in front of the camera, I will make sure the conversation is flowing and it feels like we’re old friends just hanging out. I’ll give prompts to help you feel more comfortable, fix any loose hairs, and you’ll likely hear me say “chin down” a minimum of 5 times!  

How do we get ready/prepare for our session?

I will send over a questionnaire one week before our session so I can get to know you better! This makes it easier for me to keep the conversation going by talking about things I already know about you! I also have a styling guide that I’ll send over before our session, so you’ll look and feel your absolute best!  

What can I expect from your photo editing?

My goal is to help you see how beautiful you already are! I am happy to offer light retouching (removing a stray hair, blemish, etc.), but I will never alter the size or shape of your body. You are perfect exactly as you are!

How many images will I receive?

It depends on the session time! If you have an hour session, you’ll likely end up with 45+ images. If you have a two-hour session, you’re looking at 75+ images.

When will we see our images?

My turnaround time has a lot to do with what season we are in. A good rule of thumb is 2-3 weeks after your session date! The turnaround time for weddings is between 8-12 weeks.
